 Sarah Maude-Griffin

Sarah Maude-Griffin is pursuing her BFA in Drawing and Painting with a Teaching Artist minor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She is passionate about providing arts education for students of all abilities and backgrounds. In her artistic practice, she explores social justice through a variety of mediums including painting, film, and fiber arts. 

In 2015, Sarah worked at the Walker Art Center and Intermedia Arts to plan youth programming and art events. During this time she was also a Digital Filmmaking teaching assistant at The Blake School in Minneapolis. In the summer of 2016, she led a week long photography camp at Urban Arts Academy. While employed at Intermedia Arts (2015-2017), Sarah led multiple workshops, assisted in job training for local youth and helped curate a youth showcase. Sarah has completed two murals and is interested in finding new ways to build and maintain community through public art.
