Emily Bigus

Emily is a senior at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design currently majoring in Drawing and Painting with a minor in Teaching Artist. Through her practice, she explores color theory and expressive movement in relation to topics of mental health and her own personal experience. She works in oil paint, acrylic, charcoal, and is also a photographer and writer.

Emily believes in the importance of providing children and young adults with a safe and encouraging outlet to express themselves and values providing a comfortable environment for young artists to explore their creative ideas and what interests them.
