James Palmer-Wilson is a sophomore at Minneapolis college of art and design. Working towards his BFA in furniture design. He has some experience with younger kids under k-12. He volunteers at his mother’s daycare. He also babysits his nieces and nephews. His goal is to create comfortable chairs for schools. He is overly commented to helping children learn to the fullest. He wants to help improve the test scores, by teaching different techniques to children.

The arts saved James and wants other inner city kids to know that there are other options. He has uncle to 14 younger siblings that he watches from time to time. The purest form of learning in my opinion, is when a 2 year-old ask you to help them put together an ABC puzzle, and the look in their eyes that they like learning. There is no better feeling.
