This week I have received all of my resin products by mail. I have an art sale coming up and I wanted to do charms this time. The sale I'm going to is a Convention in town so I am making little pokemon charms, something that sounds like it will sell well. I had started out with a resin that you had to mix and let sit for two days, but no matter how hard i tried and how precisely I measured it would always come out sticky. So i went and ordered UV curing resin, you just put it under a nail light or out in the sun for an hour and bam nice and clear charms. So far this resin is working more than the previous ones but still a tad sticky, i found that it cures differently on certain surfaces so i want to try and find a way to make this not so sticky. I for sure want to stick with UV curing resin because it’s so fast compared to waiting two days for you project to be done. The pokemon I'm putting in is an eevee, it’s a little fluffy fox looking creature. I used a bunch of shapes on the Cricut Design program to make the image and cut it out of cardstock, I then just drew and glued eyes on and extra colors.
