Avery Nordin

Avery Nordin is currently a Senior at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, working towards his BFA degree in 3D Animation. Avery is skilled in many different mediums and tries to use what he has learned to push his limits as an artist. Not only sticking to one type of art style but experiencing the world of art as a whole. His artwork mainly focuses on the ability to use, giving sculptures and 3D objects a purpose beyond its normal use.

Avery seeks to learn as much as he can while attending college, experimenting with traditional animation techniques and ideas while mixing them with today’s programs and styles to create something visually pleasing.

“As an artist, I strongly suggest that giving people the opportunity to learn new concepts or ways of creating is beneficial to their creative and problem-solving abilities. Sharing this type of thinking with others helps further our understanding of art and allows us to question what art is. Artists are able to help people see a different angle, and allows us as a community to connect with one another.”
