Hub Learning
Today I had my one on one meeting with Aki and Hub learning with the rest of the practicum students. For my one on one meeting Aki and I discussed my lesson that I had taught the week before. It was really helpful to go over the lesson and talk about what went well and what didn't so that I can revise my lesson plan for future use. She also helped me learn about what I need to do to receive my K-12 licensure to teach in public schools in the future. For Hub Learning we talked in small groups about where we are in our residency and how it is going for each of us. I love hearing about everyone else's residencies and what they are teaching for their lessons. We also shared about the interviews of teachers that we did. It was really interesting to hear about what others said for their interviews and I got a lot of information that I will be looking into from the interviews. We concluded class by talking about our teaching artist philosophies. I am excited to hear what everyone will write for their philosophy the next time we meet.
